Why Our Pub is Great
Perfectly located for holidaymakers, and warmly welcoming to locals looking for a great place to eat in Street, The Bear Inn is the quintessential village pub restaurant. Our beautiful building is on the High Street, directly opposite the original C & J Clark workshops.
Our well-appointed rooms are located in the pub and its surrounding cottages, and offer an idyllic and comfortable place to stay within easy reach of Wells and Glastonbury. As well as a great base for holidaymakers, our rooms are an excellent choice for conferences and business seminars. We have two function rooms onsite, and our pub is easily reached from the M5.
Whether you come for business or pleasure, we’re sure you’ll stay for the food. Our menu of carefully-chosen pub classics is served restaurant style and complemented by fresh, flavoursome sides. From traditional pub classics done with a touch of flair, to our delicious homemade kebabs, there’s sure to be something to tempt.
